...bugger, I laughed my bum off on that one. Lovely.

Just makes one wonder how many good inventions ended up used for destructive and nefarious means.

..the downside of my new connectivity, every time it seems there is another Windows utility update that has to download and install when I shutt down and then have to be configured when I start up the next time.

Tonight I am watching the third restart of my workstation because of these bleedin' updates.

...make that the fourth as it just went into another stage.

Almost want to turn the bloody update feature (bug) off.

Sounds like you were pretty far behind on updates. I usually get a batch of them and then I'm set for a while...couple weeks, couple months (rare)...never couple hours. And I get updates for Windows XP, Office 2007, all the .NET updates up to version 4.0, Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008.

teeheeheee gasp is the portable hole in the bag of holding? doan want my cheesedoodle snack to fall out the hole.

Oh, you don't want to do that.

"If a portable hole is placed within a bag of holding, it opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The hole, the bag, and any creatures within a 10-foot radius are drawn there, the portable hole and bag of holding being destroyed in the process."

Please don't, there's a bunch of REALLY important security updates coming down the pipe. As much as it sucks, it needs to be done. :/

This little gem from the latest DAZ newsletter made me chuckle - didn't know where to post this, so this seemed as good a place as any... Call me pedantic, but why is "Roman Patio" written using *Greek letters? "(R)thmlp rltphth" is the best transliteration I can come up with - sounds rather Cthulu-esque...

*Edit: plus a Latin 'R' - can't be pedantic and then get it wrong!

Because writing it in Roman would look just like the letters we are reading? ROMAN PATIO just looks so Blah...

I have mind scheduled to only do the installs and reboots on Wednesday nights starting at Midnight

I just have to remind myself not to do any overnight renders on Wednesdays.
