Please help, confusion with Genesis Starter Essentials for DS4.6

Dear all,

I am now so confused! I am trying to figure out what version of Genesis I am actually using in DS4.6.0.18 which I have installed recently. I have also downloaded the Genesis Starter Essentials that is currently in my account but it refers to DS4.5 in the info box and not DS4.6. When I open the Genesis female in DS4.6 it shows only Basic female.duf and version 0.6 at character under file option in grey info menu box in DS4.6

I have downloaded this file on 3 May. The file name was: 14812_GenesisStarterEssentials_1.11_trx.exe
File size is 439,387 kb in folder.

There is only 1 file download option in my accounts for this! I am now downloading the file AGAIN but in the meantime the info box has changed and it doesn't show which version I am downloading, only that it is Genesis Starter Essentials. Now I am not sure if I am actually downloading the SAME file all over again as the INFO on top still refers to DS4.5!!! If this is the older file, how can I get the latest version of Genesis Starter Essentials to be able to use Genesis 2 Female. DS4.6 does appear with its serial in my accounts which I have downloaded on 20 May.

While I am downloading the file now manually, as I prefer to store it for later use on a disk, the file name has changed and is now named: IM00014812-01_GenesisStarterEssentials.zip (file size 432 mb). This is why I am so confused with these 2 different file names, i.e. the .exe and .zip versions! Could anyone tell me if this is the version which will have Genesis 2 Female?

Thank you for any help which will be much appreciated! :)

Kind regards,

Laura

In my Product Library, when I type in 'Essentials' (without the quotes) I get 2 results

    Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials
    Genesis Starter Essentials

You should have both of them as well, Genesis 2 was added to everyone's account I believe. The download is a lot smaller, so if you are downloading over 400 MB it is NOT Genesis 2

Thank you Jimmy!! I have unplugged my internet without realizing I was still downloading the large file. Just as well, I will go and check for the Gen 2 Female SE and see if it's in my product library.

EDIT: WOW, GOT IT!!! Thanks Jimmy for saving me unnecessary downloading of wrong file! This Gen2 Female SE is just over 90 mb in comparison with the 400+ file I already have!! :) By the way, what is going on with smileys, on my side it's just the same blocks for all! Not sure if this is a thing with Chrome!?

    @launok

Glad you are getting the correct file now, let us know how you get on with it?

The smileya are busted as chohole says, and I usually type in if I don;t want someone to take something the wrong way (but it doesn't always work )

You can always use alt 1 or alt 2 but they do need then to be sized to largest and are still not all that brilliant

Didn't know about them Pam, thanks. I have used Alt before for some peculiar characters, but they are usually a 3 digit number

They are too small really, but better than nothing I suppose
