On the "Genesis Revisited" banner over here:

http://www.daz3d.com/sales-promotions/#revisited

On the left hand side of the banner is a female clothing outfit that includes top hat, wings, finger jewelry, and cool little metallic "dreads".

I've scoured the store.

I cannot find it.

What is that outfit? Where is it? I must examine it!

Halp?

Thank you in advance. :)

It has a complicated greek sounding name Apteromata and Archeros both spring to mind but I'm not sure which is the garment and which is a texture. RDNA I believe

OK, that's just the wings. The clothing is one of the many steampunk outfits

It looks like it has elements from a number of different products used in combination.

The wings are from Apteromata by ConnieKat/BadKittehCo, with textures by Arien. That product line is over at RDNA.

The fingertip pieces I believe are Arki's work, also from RDNA.

One of the necklace pieces is from Aery Soul/AlfaSeed, but I believe that product is sadly no longer available. (A shame, too!)

I'm not sure about the other pieces, but suspect if you do a search on 'steampunk' here and over at RDNA and Renderosity, you'll likely find the other components. :) Hope this helps!

it's not a full outfit as far as I can remember, it's a bit of a kit bash. I do know the finger thingys are by Arki over at RDNA - can't think of the name of them, I think it was something to do with "Witch"??? The wings are from badkitteh's Apteromata (sp?) also at RDNA.

I'm really embarrassed to admit it, but I can't for the life of me think of the name of the artist who did the pic! *hangs head in shame* She's an awesome artist tho. That pic was actually in one of the latest Expose books too - um, about two years back i think? It's sitting on my shelf so I'll go and find it and find the artist's name and you could probably email her and ask. :D

Using an outfit in a promotion that isn't actually in the store?

    DASHED CUNNING.

Now I gotta go to RDNA, don't I? Blah.

agreed, and it's been used a couple of times. LOL. I do believe tho it was a winner in one of the galleries, back when DAZ had them, and I also think that DAZ has the right to use those images in advertising - I know they used one of mine in a banner for a PC sale *laughs*

    And all originally for V4.

And Major Cache was originally for M3 with a later refit for M4.

It's a combination of outfits. The hat, goggles, corset, and jacket look to be from SteamPunk Outfit for V4 by Littlefox, available at RDNA.
The wings and other pieces of the outfit look to be from Apteromata Flight & Apteromata Finery (also for V4) by Bad Kitteh Co, available at RDNA.
The middle outfit is also Apteromata Flight.

I don't know where the metallic dreads or the finger jewelry are from.

Gosh! Y'all are fast. I went to RNDA to make sure I had the correct names of the outfits.

Aha!!!!!! found it. It was in "Expose 9", and the artist is LeAndra Dawn - i KNEW that was her, but I was doubting my memory. *grin*

She's an incredible artist, one of my favourites. I thought she had a gallery at rendo, but i can't find her there. But her portfolio is on her site. You could always email her and ask her what she used. :D

The finger claws come from Arki's Y-Style Kattey's Accessories. They've been re-textured. Also from RDNA.

The metallic dreads look like one of Stonemason's old free items. I don't think they're available anymore.

The Apteromata is a commercial product. If Daz or whomever did the promo has a legal copy, why is there even a question?

the question is the OP wanted to know the outfit in the promo cos he/she liked it and wanted to purchase it. Nothing to do with legalities. And then we were giggling about DAZ using the image in their promos, when the only DAZ products were V4 herself, and the Apteramata wings which USED to be sold here. :D No legalities questioned, just giggling about it. :D

...and now that I actually LOOK at that banner, it's advertising "Genesis DAZ Originals"...yet not one of the three pictures used are Genesis products.
I'm laughing quite hard now. :D

I laughed too when I saw the promo for the Genesis sale. My first reaction was that none of the items have anything to do with Genesis.
