Figure Interaction Question

I hope this is not a repeat question. I'm trying to pose M4 and V4 together, and I was wondering if there is a way to keep one figure's mesh from going through the other in a natural looking way. I understand that Daz Studio has a collision detection, but I am extrememly unfamiliar with how it works. Any information would be great, as well as any links to tutorials or previous topics on this subject.

Thank you

DAZ Studio does not really have collision detection as such, it only applies to fitting clothing to a partcular mesh to prevent pokethrough, and it is used as part of the Dynamic Clothing Control as well.

    Sorry for the bad news.

There are a few products that are poses specifically for two figures interacting. If you are willing to use those stock poses, that could be a workaround for your problem.
(Of course if you need to adjust the parts of the poses where the figures are touching, or the poses aren't ones you need, that won't help you because you would still need to adjust them.)
