DAZ Studio is a fantastic solution for a writer who wants a visual element to his stories. I've talked to LOCAL talent in the area, illustrators and graphic artists, ones who are not established or published yet and still they act like they are someone special "in the industry". They give price quotes such as..."Yeah I'm interested in working on a comic book or graphic novel with you, so I'll tell you what I'll do for you before I start doing cover art, or panels and pages...I'll take ONE of your characters and do a black and white pencil line art drawing of him/her/it then ink it in, I'll put the character in about two to three poses and then let you have what I've done so you can consider it for the potential to hire me, oh and to do this, and only this I require $2,000.00 UP FRONT!" I of course ask..."Why the heck would I give you $2,000.00 up front for something like that, why so MUCH for so LITTLE?!?!" The response..."Well who are you, what's different about you and your company from me, you aren't "published" yet, just like me, you're nobody, that's why!"

Okay a valid point, but unlike them I and my company are "nobody" registered with the Secretary of State of the State of Ohio as a LEGITIMATE BUSINESS Domestic for profit limited liability corporation which lends more credibility than what they've got...but THANKS TO DAZ 3D STUDIO...problem solved!

Yeah the core software is free and the additional content, applications, and plug-ins cost, and yeah I've spent SEVERAL thousand dollars on that stuff as opposed to only two grand on what these people wanted to do, but I have resources they do not, and now I no longer need them, in fact I'm in a situation where potentially they need me more than I need them. So thank you very much to DAZ 3D, and to show my appreciation I put TWO links on my company webpage for daz3d.com, check it out at http://www.studiowyldecard.com/ and please register to become a member and sign the guestbook while you are there, thanks and have a great day!

Oops, sorry about that, I guess I should have read that WHOLE thing first, a suggestion/question however...why not let us put polls up?

Polls were not supposed to be included in the forum options. They were only available on the old forum under the limitations set out in the TOS, and required asking to have one set up for you.
