Just when you thought Daz was just another software developer trying to kill off old model bases to force you to upgrade, you slap yourself and realize the software is free and it's content they're selling. Who in their right mind kills off models that need content? They still got stuff for V1, for heaven's sake. OK, so what's Gen 2 all about? I saw some render threads for Gen 2. One post showed a side-by-side close-up comparison of a Gen 01 and Gen 02 facial expression. Most posters missed the subtle but significant improvement. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but facial expressions up to and including Gen 01 are a joke and kill the realism developed for other parts of the body. Daz has absolutely got to put an effort into the face area and they realize it. Having said that, Daz could put out Gen 147 and there's still users who will make those models look like crap. Other than that, I'm fine.
