How can I render them so they don't look...I guess...fake looking.
Is their a way to add eye shines to them...something

yes, many texture sets come with eye shine maps. I find the eyes and reflections in http://www.daz3d.com/nico works beautifully, even on genesis 1 females.
Any other way?
I have these...elite eye shines...they don't even seem to work anymore...or don't want to work.
Not sure if you're Poser or DAZ Studio, but if DAZ Studio, Project Eyeris is great! Just follow the linkie: http://www.daz3d.com/project-eyeris
Sadly, I think the eye quality is down to the texture maps and no amount of good lighting can make them look less crappy. I use Look At Me Eyes and SG Real Eyes.

There are more products like them in the shop, these just happen to be the two that I have.
They don't look creepy...they just look fake compered to the rest of the model
Crappy.. not creepy. lol
Thanks for the links...guess no free option in all this
here's a trick i do...
I make genesis have a geoshell, and in teh geoshell surfaces, I turn all the rest of the surfaces to 0 for visablilty. To the eye surfaces (cornea, sclera, or if not that, pupil and iris and sclera) on the geoshell, (make sure you select ONLY that) I apply either EYEris eye shaders, or mess around with glass, water, and sparkle shaders and opacity. Also like to do this to the lip surface to give the lips an extra dose of gloss and color much the way a layer of lipstick would.
