tri, nif or dds files to carrara 8 Pro?

I am wondering if i can import nif, tri and dds files to Carrara 8 Pro as i've got meshes and textures on that files i would like to use and modefy

    Those are game files, more then likely propitiatory. No you can't import them, best you can do is find some conversion app.

    No NIF plugins exist for Carrara as far as I know. Carrara doesn't support DDS textures either, but there are a number of free programs to convert them.
