I can save a shape. Where i can click and the character body will load into the scene.

But how do I save a character morph that will load onto the main Genesis model without loading a 2nd body?

You have a few options. File Save As > Shaping Preset will inject the morph into Genesis by clicking on a pose file in your content library, or File > Save As > Support Asset > Morph Asset will save the morph as a dial.

Which way will keep the character scale (height)?

If the scaling is set directly, not linked to a morph, then I think you would have to use a Property preset and choose the appropriate options.

    Hey,

When I have used morphs and characters purchased from the market place to shape a custom character I've found that - File Save As > Shaping Preset , works fine as a loadable asset from the content library pane that you can apply to the base character, but
Save As > Support Asset > Morph Asset , only actually saves all of the individual component parts as dials and assets that you used to make up the character, into the location you choose to save it to, no dial is created as a sum of the component parts, ie, a new character dial for you to use afterwards from the shaping pane. When I have created custom modelled characters sculpted in blender as an example, this is the 'save as' to use because you have probably used morph loader pro to create the morph dials and placed them where you like in the hierarchy so your morph is an isolated option to choose within the list when saving the asset.
How do you actually create the morph dial for the character you have made from other vendors assets in the first place, to save it as a dial ? other wise it is a pointless exercise, and you are just duplicating content and isolated parts of other vendors content.
I would be very interested to know how to do this from within Daz Studio as the documentation is very vague if non existent.
