Haven't really done anything DAZ related in over a year and a half. Got tired of creating some cool stuff, upgrading, loosing my content library, repeat...

Came to the website today to check on how Carrara is coming along. Saw a new version of DAZ Studio. Downloaded it. Not really expecting to do much with it.

Found the DAZ 3D Install manager... What's this!?

I told it to install everything...

All 800 products I own.

It's working mighty hard. I'm letting it run overnight...

If I wake up to a successful install tomorrow this might just put me back in the game. :)

    The DAZ Install Manager (DIM) will install all of your content by default into C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library.

    Make sure that you have that folder listed as BOTH a DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats folder in the Content Directory Manager. You will find it in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager.

    As a back up for final works I save them to dropbox, since I render on 2 pc's.

    All my content installed.

    Figures, clothing, props... load instantly.

    I switch to the pose & animate tab... Click the work area to rotate the scene...

    Crash.

    DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\DzCore.dll" at 0033:00000000D5968650, DzNode::getPresentation()

    :(
