I have searched and tried to read everything i can, but i cant get my pictures right. How do i get rid on the extreme noisiness i always get?
All my pictures seems to stop improving after 10 hours or so.

On this image i have one uberenvironment2 light and 1 distant as sun with luxus sky/sun thing on it.

Im using hybid mode with 6 pixel samples. Tried the normal cpu mode before but stopped after 13 hours.
This hybrid mode picture have been on for 13 hours and 30 minutes. 68.44 s/p.

System spec: i7 3770k, ati 69502gb and 16gb ram.

Will the noise disappear? Or am i doing something completely wrong?¨

Also how do i get better water? I tried the glossy translucent thing on the river but it didnt look right.

Thanks.

Open a Deviant Art account and post your picture there if you don't have one there already.

The image will show a backside of a full grown woman in thongs.
It will not show any more nudity than some images in the Daz shop...

well 68 s/p is very low so yes you are doing something wrong...stopping it too soon. In my experience I would say 3 of 4 days and you might get rid of the noise.

Water you have a Luxus Water preset I think, if not use the Glass and set the IOR to 1.33

The shadows on her legs and butt look odd; the uberlight and sunlight might be too much. Remove one of them and maybe try placing small area lights instead.

The materials may have their specular settings too high, this can cause noise.

Thanks. Will try both of your tips.

But not before i have managed to bang a hole in the wall with my head.

I tried the continue render option. It started from scratch.

    Back to the wall business!

6000×2553 is way too much! It will take a very long time for you to see any results at that size. Render you test scene at 1000*425.5 and you will see things speed up. Render larger for the final if you want but the larger the image, the longer it takes.

Dont bother with the Uber lights. They are for use in DS and are not needed in Lux Render as it already does what Uberlights do for DS. Just go with the sun and sky.

As for the blockyness in the shadow, Lux Render calculates light realistically so you need to subdivide the model though in DS4 you can apply a smoothing modifier to the figure to smooth her out too.

The fireflies will clear up the longer things render though that will also be dependant on surfaces and how shiney and reflective they are.

6000x2553? Another thing to consider is that LuxRender uses massive amounts of RAM at high resolutions, especially if you have multiple light groups. Outlier rejection memory usage also skyrockets as resolution increases. So there's a good chance that a render of that resolution is causing your OS to swap like a madman, which will reduce render performance to nearly zero.

    Thanks everyone.
I have tried alot of different ligthing techniques after reading some guides. I just cant get rid of the strong shadows on the left and right side "bushes". They wont light up at all, only the area around the shadows. No matter where i place the lights and how strong i set them to be.

Tried to render with only my cpu & hybrid mode.
And about the ram, yup lux render laughs in my face telling 16gb is for children only.

I have used reality before a few times, and the reason im doing those massive renders is because i scale down the pictures after renders to get rid of some jagginess.

Does anyone know how to continue a render later?
I did how luxrender.net tells to do, but i cant find any bool restart_resume_flm" ["true"] in my.lxs file.

I'm not an expert, but why not try starting at the size you want to end up at, and going larger until you are happy with the results or your system chokes. That way you can solve problems with lighting, etc. without waiting days for it to render.
