Main rotor rotating backwards and forwards jerkily.

how do I get the main rotor on my Blackhawk to just rotate at a constant speed in one direction only?

On the main rotor under parameters, I set a keyframe at the beginning of the animation as 1 and another keyframe at the end of the animation as 50000. when I play it back the rotor does all sorts of weird things going backwards and forwards and jerking all over the place.

any help appreciated.

cheers

I'd suspect it was the interpolation of nthe 'tween' rotations that is causing that. You may need to look at creating an aniblock of a 'simple' few seconds worth of rotation (done with more attention to positioning of rotors) and add multiples of that in animate.

ok cheers for the info. I need to do some research into aniblocks.

There is also the option of getting the rotors to rotate an extra (say) 180 or 270 degress every frame or two, but that is long-winded and fiddly. The good news is that you can click on the rotation amount and add +180 (or +999) so you do not have to remember where you were.

    hi

I cant seem to find any documentation on how to create an aniblock. is this right? are their any videos anywhere? I had a look on youtube but they all seem to be animations using aniblocks and not on how to create a new aniblock.

    cheers for any info.
