I"m trying to use Genesis in Motion Builder...and it don't want to charactize.

I exported it for an AutoDesk file

When I try to, it tells me it can't because some required nodes are missing:

hips
spine
feet

It's a very long list

From what I understand, Genesis is ready to use in games...but hell, I can't even it in a program to edit mocap data

If anyone know what I need to do to get Gen to work...I would like to hear it. I'm watch a video how to do the procress, but I cna't do anything if Genesis isn't going to work

You need to make a characterization mapping that maps the Genesis bones to the Motionbuilder default character. I did this a long time ago for V4, but rarely touch Motionbuilder these days. Here's an old topic on the old forum that talks about it.

and this web page is still up:

You can save your characterization file and re-use it to speed up the process. But one time you'll have to go through and setup the mapping for all the bones. At least this was true with V4. With Genesis I assume will be fixable the same way, but I've never tried it.
