Today's Deal Discount issues (Solved: Too early for me >.>)

When I added 3 items into the cart, it's giving me a lesser discount from what I calculated. Is this a right amount of discount or the store's system is going bonkers?

Edit: Never mind, that is the right price. I need coffee.

I think it's correct... items already listed at 30% discount (but doesn't tell you that in basket), so the 40% is off full price i.e. a further 10% reduction to the prices listed.

I had to get my wife to help me since I'm still not through my first cup of coffee but I think I figured it out.

It looks like the total - $35.92 - is 40% off of the original price. The price you're seeing in the cart is the 30% off price since all of these items are 30% off today even if you only buy 1. Since you've bought 3 you get additional discount to make each of the 40% off the list price not 40% off the cart price which is already 30% off.

Hopefully that's at least somewhat understandable.
