Then I'd have to assign everyone a number.

    I'm not a number, I'm a free man!!

    They've given you a number
    And taken away your name

    Secret Agent Man

    Johnny Rivers

    Original performer: the ventures
There's a man who lives a life of danger
To everyone he meets, he stays a stranger
    With every move he makes
    Another chance he takes
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man
    They've given you a number
    And taken away your name

Beware of pretty faces that you find
A pretty face can hide an evil mind
Don't let the wrong word slip
    While kissing persuasive lips
Or odds are you won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man
    They've given you a number
    And taken away your name

Swinging on the Riviera one day
Lying in a Bombay alley next day
    Be careful what you say
    Or you'll give yourself away
Odds are you won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man
    They've given you a number
    And taken away your name

Because you are all winners, as a little extra thank you to the 12 participants who made entries in this Challenge, I'm changing up the awarding of the Carrara PA prize (from Fenric).

This time, we will hold a drawing at the close of voting, and all 12 of you are entered.  It will be a very high-tech affair - I'm making slips of paper with each person's name, and placing them in a hat.  My wife will select the winner.

    Gotta find a fedora!

    wonderful Fenric is a sponsor!!

And on that note, here is a little bit about Fenric.

Fenric is a Carrara PA located in Irving, Texas, USA.  His main profession is "software architect."

He discovered Carrara after a lengthy personal journey:

"I started in 3d art in college back in 1993 with POV-Ray. Even then I
loved to tinker with the software and modified the main ray-geometry
logic to use fixed-point (integer) calculations so that it ran somewhat
reasonably on the rather inadequate Intel 80486 processor.

After a long hiatus for school and life, I returned to the art world.  I
dabbled with the free DAZ studio for about a year before deciding that I
really wanted something more capable.  My first thought was to research
what was available, and I settled on Carrara (then version 7).  I fell
    in love.

Learning that Carrara had an SDK, I put my programming training
to use and began making plugins, creating the BVH exporter.  From there I
moved on, writing small additions to improve Carrara’s overall
    usability."

Fenric is famed for his Carrara plugins!

    Here is a partial listing:

Shader Power Tools - Shader Doctor, Skin Doctor, Advanced Shader Tweaker,  Multi-Shader Editor

Posing Pack 3 - Tree Duplicator, Unlock Figure, Restore Figure, Change Rotation, Set Figure Visibility

Motion Designer File Format for Carrara - This plugin provides both import and export support for the Lightwave Motion Designer/Point Oven (MDD) file format.

Pose and Shading Tools 2 - Pose Transfer Command, Stack Tweener, Clear Timeline Command, TowardAway Shader, Color Balance Shader, Color Separation Shader, Color Merge Shader

Carrara Enhanced Remote Control - The Enhanced Remote Control suite is a set of behavior modifiers and scene commands that work together to add much needed functionality and control to your animation workflow.

Pose Helper for Carrara - Left / Right Pose Symmetry based on scene element names, Morph Zeroing, Pose Zeroing, Rotation Setting, Scale Zeroing, Scale Setting, General Scene Option Setting, Full undo/redo support.  Works on content, native figures and groups of primitives, and works across multiple figures and groups

BVH/PZ2 Exporter (Poser Pose exporter) for Carrara - This plugin adds the ability to export Poser Pose (PZ2), Animated Poser Pose (PZ2), and Poser-compatible BioVision animation data (BVH) from a single, easy to use function.

Many thanks to Fenric for providing the profile information, and for sponsoring this Challenge by offering an item from his Daz store.

A drawing from the 12 entry participants in this thread will be held at the close of voting to determine who wins the Carrara PA prize.

    yes

    yesyesyes :)

I use the shader doc and the tree duplicate and the colour desaturator and the keyboard shortcut for going up and dowwn the instances list in almost every Car scene I setup.

I'd be slashing my wrists without Fenric...

I pretty much have all of Fenrics plugins -shader doctor every day to get rid of those annoying highlights that seem to come with most daz product - at least characters and clothing. We are truly fortunate to have these clever folks adding to Carrara. heart
