Files not opening

Hello everyone,

I got a new computer and set it up last week. Yesterday I put Hexagon on it and it opens and functions well, except for one thing, it will not open any of the files (.hex or .obj) files that I have created previously on other computers.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but have the same results. The name of the file I try to open shows up on the x,y,z thingy in the lower left corner, but I 'see' nothing.

Can anyone help me please?

    Something is very wrong, I also cannot save. Getting error messages

    Close Hexagon and throw out your preferences. Then restart Hexagon and see if the problem goes away.

    If your new computer is Windows8, maybe some other Windows8 users here can comment if they have any experience with running Hexagon on that OS.

    EDIT, although from your screenshots maybe you have Vista?
