    Greetings,
Sculptural Genesis and the Rigged Water both depend pretty heavily on custom shaders.

...bummer, and here I hoped I'd have another chance to get all the shader packs by Eva-1 on my wishlist. Missed the 4 hour sale the other week.

Unrelated to the Props & Shaders thing, but Gemologica is on a flash sale right now!

Well I admit I was looking for Shader sets too. Then it went CLICK, it is Props and Shaders as a single pack. And only two that I found, both mentioned before.

Yes, they look pretty cool, as do the gem shaders. I get mixed up with the term shaders. Are the statues and water shaders based on Daz Studio Default shaders? Not that it matters, just curious.

"Shader presets" is probably a better term but everyone shortens it to "shaders." Then there's actual shaders like the subsurface scattering shader, ubersurface, human surface shader, that give you different channels to twiddle.

Almost all of the shader presets in my Sculpture kit use the DS default shader and tiling texture maps - one or two may use the HSS.

Think the water shaders are default. What makes them look their best is 1. that you use an environment sphere and 2. that you render with enough raytrace samples and at least one raytraced light.

...what if you use a lightdome like Cloud 9? will that work for the water shaders?

Sure, any domed environment will do if you have good lights. I haven't used Cloud 9 but it sounds fine.
