is it possible to add bones to props? and can i make that bone - prop attachment, an extension of
I have to animate multiple cahracters doing the same tricks on diffrent hover boards in iclone.
i built the hover board in 3ds max and imported it into iclone.. along with my genesis character, this is only one of many characters i have to animate doing tricks on hover boards, and the boards will be diffrent. im trying to figure out a way to make it so that i only have to d othe animations one time and not eavh time i bring a new character with a new board into iclone.
so i was thinking maybe i can import the board into daz first add a bone to it, and make it apart of the genesis figure before i export to 3dxchange and then iclone.. in doing that i can just apply the one animation i make for one character to all the characters since thier bones will be the same..( one bone for my hover board and the genesis bones.)
is this an accurate assesment? or at least on wirth exploring.. if so can it be done,.. and if so how can i do it.. as far as adding bones to my hover board prop and adding to genesis bones.

Yes, I think you can add bones to Genesis and mark them as Followers, but I'm no expert on the topic.
However I'd look first at iClone capabilities, surely you can save just the animation (perhaps as a BVH file format), and then apply it to your different boards?
