Legacy morphs?
As in making morphs that will show up on the Parameter Tab for created Legacy clothing made in D/S4.5ish.
Is it even possible?
Got this message more than once: You must save Figure/Node Assets before you can save Morph Asset(s). ?????
.cr2 file is saved. Created a morph for it several ways. How does one save the morph???
Can save out Deformer presets ... can't imagine we're expected to share those.
Shaping preset did nothing, well I did get an error message and to check the log. Kid you not, this is what the log's error message says "Error reading file, see log for more details." [As this message will also appear if one hasn't selected an item, perhaps that triggered it. When I redid the attempt making very sure everything was selected, absolutely nothing happened.]
So Me back again ;-)
Okay, have a legacy item created in D/S4.5.
Needs morph.
If use bridge to Hexagon is nice, but no can save it. ?why?
So if use DeFormer, well there is the same problem. No can save it. Some nonsense about saving nodes first. This is legacy.
Although one can save a Deformer preset.
As I haven't seen a deluge of Deformer presets being shared in the wilds I'm hoping that there's a way to save out a morph for a legacy item created in D/S4.5. If not, does one just pack up the Deformer preset along with everything else and hope for the best?
Would a preset in 4.5 work in 4.6 for example?
Comments
Legacy means Poser formats, so you can forget all about using "File > Save as" in DS for for it.
In 4.5+ if you have the morph loaded into the clothing and it works by spinning the dial, then you need to create a new CR2 (File > Export, and select the file type as CR2), this will then either have the morph built into the new CR2, or it will be in a PMD binary morph file.
A new .cr2, okay. Thank you.
