weird character viewpoint on daz opening

Normally when I reopen a character in Daz (daz, close, and reopen) the position normally resets itself.

But I have this one character, when I reopen it, it's offset. The angling and and view point are the same, but his feet are off the screen.

I can't figure out why it loads up so differently. All the Translate dials are all at 0...so that surly can't be it.

Ok, so I"m loking at the model now, it looks as if, his shins are half-way through the floor, even though all the Translate dials are set at 0.

Anyway to fix this?

I would deal with it, but if I merge the character into another Daz render, he'll be offset to everything else in the scene.

Highlight the character in the Scene tab > right click the Parameters tab (as in the tab itself that says Parameters) > Move to Floor.

Well, it fixed the problem, but none of my other character have the Translation dials moved, and their on the floor

I don't understand why this one needs to be Translated, while the others don't

I haven't tested this, but did you lengthen the legs? The translation would still be 0, but since if the legs are lengthened maybe that's what's doing it.

As I know of, no. I just scale them for their height

Guess my easy fix would to remodel him...or save the shape, and reapply to a fresh Genesis

    thanks for the help anyway
