Realised this is old news! So changed the name of the thread. Sorry to lure you here fpr no reason.

original post follows :

Just noticed that Carrara 8 Pro is 171 dollars which seems like a bargain . Not sure if it's a PC thing or not.

http://www.daz3d.com/carrara-software/carrara-8-pro

and maybe if you buy Ringo's v6 shaders for under 11 dollars you get another 40 percent off that 171 dfollars ? not sure about that,

I could be leading you astray

http://www.daz3d.com/dp-victoria-6-carrara-shaders-386

anyway, I know some are still "struggling" with old versions so someone might benefit, eh?

    ah yes,
    you are right Stezza

being in the PC takes it down to 171 dollars, I see.
so it might be worth the one month's PC fee of 30 dollars ? to save 80 odd dollars
    who knows,

    cheers!

well I really should tell you a joke to make it worth your while looking at this post.....

when I see kids at work I always get them to tell me a joke.... their parents usually squirm a bit....

    so

    this is one

Q: "Why did the toilet roll down the hill?"

A: "To get to the bottom of things.... "

maybe this post will get to the bottom of things. And I'm not trying to make a wise crack...

To carry on with the joke and sheep topic this thread is devolving into:

A traveling salesman was driving through the country one day. He was taking his time and enjoying the passing scenery, when all of a sudden he noticed a man in the pasture next to the road having inappropriate relations with a sheep. Naturally he was quite alarmed and disgusted.

The salesman noticed a farm house adjacent to the pasture, he stopped to alert the farmer of the crimes perpetrated against his sheep. When he pulled into the yard, he noticed a curly haired young boy. The salesman called, "hey, young man! Did you know there's a man in your pasture molesting your sheep?" "oh," said the boy, "that's just my d-a-a-a-d!"

this thread will get more views than many of the flayed dead horse ones that pop up,
Maybe Dart should add a few gushing paragraphs for the visitors.
    Stan bring whine
I will add cheese! (poke tongue out smiley)

then in keeping with the general mood of the thread we can pass a motion which is seconded by the sitting members before putting it down on paper and filing it in the collective database that goes out to sea.

    ha ha Wendy,

    I am amazed.
I read your post this morning while I was cleaning my teeth, filing my fingernails and getting my ex wife's nineteen children ready to go the the dentist (they are having their teeth filed down to the gums as punishment for not liking brussel sprouts) .
Sorry I am just replying and......
    gah
you have hidden your discovery now :(

Do me a favour and repost it, I think it is bluddy amazing.

Maybe I will have to buy the only fenric plugin I don't own.

    cheers from wet newie :)
