All my items disappeared from my smart content!!!

I mapped the location of my daz3d library in poser pro 2014 and all of the sudden I can not see any items in the smart tab!!! Please help.

    Same thing happened to me. This is what I did and got it back:

    On Smart Content tab: Click active Pane Options > Content Database Maintenance > select Re-Import Metadata

    It will take about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of your content. However, my setup is Daz default and did not have or customize my directories.

    Before you do the above, read up on it and I did a search for: smart content not working

    But you might want to wait for some expert advice though :)

    Ae you on Windows?

    Close Daz Studio go to the Windows Start Button

    Start > Daz3d > Content Management Service > Turn On CMS

    Restart Daz Studio and see if that fixes it before resetting the metadata.

    Sounds like something is iinterfering with CMS.

    Have you recently upgraded to DS4.6?
    Have you had any Windows Updates prior to this Happening? A firewall update prehaps?

    Where is the Poser content folder you recently mapped, not in Program Files is it? (I don't know if it is a cause but Daz Studio doesn't like Content in Program Files full stop)

    Yeah the content for poser is in program files but the one I just mapped is in my documents. No updates no but I did reset the database and reinstalled it again. I am doing a reinstall of daz studio, hope fully that will help. BUt one thing, I try running the cms and it wasnt doing anything.

    if you are going to do a reinstall then first thing to do is Uninstall CMS for the Windows Control panel. Then reinstall Daz Studio as normal.
