Not a biggy and doesn't seem to have a great effect on the renders. But, I would like to know what it means......maybe even fix it....(hopefully).
Please see attached screen image for error message.....
Cheers,
Stiks

It's 3Delights way of telling you it doesn't like your Bump/Displacement maps.
There are several different variations on that warning so nailing down the cause can be tricky, but generally it's down to a displacement map that looks like a trans map.
It's not an error, it's a warning. It means that 3Delight has been told to test for displaced geometry out to so far from the mesh (the Minimum and maximum values, if using one of the standard shaders) but on the surface in question the furthest any displaced mesh went was 41% of that value - since testing for displacement can slow the render down, depending on what else is happening, you might want to adjust the settings to avoid the unnecessary calculations (especially if you were an animator using an expensive render farm to produce thousands of frames for a film). For a single render by an individual user, with shaders and textures you didn't create, making the needed adjustments would probably take longer than rendering with the defaults (it may indicate that the displacement map could have been done more efficiently - though if only some surfaces on the model are giving the error it may also mean that those areas are just less heavily displaced than others).
I often see this with certain shaders reliant on Ray Traceing when using Deep Shadow Maps though the percentage is often different.
