The "Create a Product" option no longer working in DS 4.6

Since I upgraded to DS 4.6 I can no longer use the "Create a Product" option... When I try, a folder with the product name I typed appears in the Products section of my Content Library, but it appears empty.
The same happens when I buy and install new items from DAZ. An empty folder with the name of the product appears in the Products section...
Can anybody help? Thanks!

I have never used this option.
I see it when I right click on the Products tab. It allows me to create a Product name, but it does not have any details, so there is nothing to find. All of my other Products are listed correctly.
How is this supposed to work?
Many of the products I buy and install don't appear automatically in the Products section. So I have to look them up on the DAZ Studio Formats or the Poser Formats sections, which can get quite complicated... when I finally find them I right click on the folder and then select "Create a Product". In many cases you need to do this several times, one for the figure, another for the materials, etc. In the end you get all the files in the new Product folder. For me it's the easiest and fastest way of finding my stuff. I only need to remember the name of the outfit, character, hair, or whatever.
But it isn't working anymore... The products I created in DS 4.5 are still there, but in DS 4.6 this function seems to be broken...
I just tried this with a freebie that I got today, it's called Missy for G2F. I went to the DS Formats folder, My DAZ 3D Library, right clicked on the folder called 'Missy for G2F' which contains Head and Body INJ/REM files in DUF format. I used the Create a Products option, and gave it the same name.
I just checked in the Products area, under 'M', and it is there with the icons for the files. I have never done this before, but it worked first time. If the CMS is not running, Products will not appear at all as far as I am aware, but you could check that out first? It sounds as if something has gone wrong.
I know you may not want to use Categories, but could you try to create a Category, and put something in it to see if that works? Do you have your user files backed up? If so, you could run them in again and see if that helps?
I created a category, and the same happened. The new category folder is there, but empty.
I don't have a back-up of my user files. How do you do that?
Did you check that the CMS is running?
In Windows, go to the Task manager, and you should see it as a running process (Show Processes from all users).
If it is not running, go to Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D and start it from there. If the CMS is running, you could try stopping it from the same place, and then restarting it again.
To backup your user files, go to the Content Library pane, and either right click on the name 'Content Library' or use the drop down menu option, and go to Content DB Maintenance, and select Export User Data. I think it is maybe too late to do that if the content is not there?
You could try it anyway if all else fails, and then you could move your database files to another location for now, and then restart DAZ Studio and you should be able to import them again. You may lose some recently created data though.
See if the CMS is running properly first. Do Products and Categories have a little triangle to the right of them like DS and Poser Formats?
