SOLVED: morphs causing a duplicate of figure in 3dsmax

i've exported a victoria 5 with morphs as fbx in daz which i now want to open and render in 3ds max
everything works great, except when i render there's another victoria 5 laying on the floor in a t-pose in yellow and purple,
where does she come from and how do i get rid of her?
the figure comes with a few modifiers including the 'Morpher" one and when i delete this modifier, the duplicate victoria goes away as well.. but so do the morphs that i want to keep.
any ideas on how to solve this? thanks

solved it by hiding the bones of the object in the viewport
