Wynter Hair 70% discount?

For a limited time, owners of the original Wynter Hair will automatically receive an additional 70% off this product. Act quickly because this offer ends August 3, 2013.

I own the original Wynter Hair, but I do not see the 70% discount being applied.
How does that work exactly?

    Did you check in your cart? It shows up with discount if I click "Go to Shopping Cart".

    Oh yep, thanks Pixel8ted, you're right, it's working now... previous buyers will get 70% off $19.95 which takes it down to $5.99 :')

    I am sorry but it is not working for me because the only discount that appears when I I click “Go to Shopping Cart” is the 10% off discount that applies if you have purchased the Gia pro bundle. I have already tried to log out and to empty my browser cache before logging in again and the issue is still there.

    I have meanwhile bought the first version...

    Quick question - is this updated model compatible with the texture expansions of the old version (such as Surreal Wynter) or is the UV mapping changed?

    love this hair! The new version looks excellent too! I'm having the same issue! Can't see the discount. MAybe because I've put it in the cart along with other items??

    Yes it is :') it was reshaped, mat settings updated and new morphs for new figures but the base UVS are the same.

    The 70% discount is only if you have bought the original Wynter Hair (for V4&V3; at http://www.daz3d.com/wynter-hair ) before you put Wynter Hair 2 (http://www.daz3d.com/wynter-hair-2) in your cart. If you haven't bought the first one, the discount should be the 30% intro sale, which makes it $13.95. Looks like for some with the extra 10% bonus(??) the store is taking it further down to $12.57 actually lol but that's ok :')

    I know that the 70% off reduction applies to the new version if we have already purchased the first version but as shown on my screenshot above, I have already bought it and when I put the new hair in my cart all I get is 10 % off because I have bought the Gia pro bundle.

    I thus do not understand why I do not get the 70% off reduction...

    I is not okay for me even if it seems to be for you.

    Yeah, tried it again but not showing up for me either.
    The original Wynter Hair with the Wynter Snow bundle is in my Product Library.
    But the discount is not showing up on the cart screen or after. :/

    So the male hairs are coming, just wanted to let you folks know what's happening :)

    I suspect me not seeing the "receive an additional 70% off this product" part is down to all the possibly stacked discounts in play with it: ignoring the general 30% off intro/PC price, we have the "sporty and sexy" buy 1 get 30%, buy 2 get 40% (I have SPEX and Wynter in the basket, to qualify for 2), the "an extra 10% for Gia 6 Pro. I know that they do not add, else DAZ would end up owing me money (40 + 70 + 10 =120% off ... I wish!!!)
    At the moment it is, so far as I can see, far from not being wholly correct, with Wynter at $13.97 and SPEX at $11.97, for a total of $25.84, but discount of $5.91. If I remove SPEX (going back to just 1 item to get the 30% off (which I get anyway, but who's counting?) to get just the 70% and extra 10% ... I see a discount of $1.40, which I assume is just the extra 10%.
    I think I'll bite now and let Sales Support handle the maths .... :)

    The issue is now fixed and the price appears correctly: $5.99... (or $5.39 for the ones who have purchased the Gia Pro bundle).

    Price appears to have been fixed for those that bought the bundles as well. I just checked and I am now seeing the correct price.

    The other way, g2m won't be wearing the girly girly hairs lol I don't know how DAZ intend files done between the f and m, which is why I was holding off. There might be a way for them to share the same data folder, that's the bit I'm curious about.

    From what I have gathered from reading this thread and the one when April re-released her other hair for V6 is April wants to offer owners of the original hair a discount of 70% not an ADDITIONAL discount of 70%. Which would take the hair down to $4.19 if you just purchased the hair, $3.59 if you purchased it with one other product from the "sporty & sexy" sale and $2.99 with both "sporty & sexy" Gia discounts.

    So off to sales support I go.

    But what if DAZ do an even bigger discount next week? lol j/k ;) I can't even tell you, I just request the discount and they try to apply it while considering the combinations. (Not always easy if there are coupons involved, like my special request for my anniversary sale last month for a max of 85% off the new items - woo that was a bit of a mess (my fault) but DAZ came through in the end, I think, while I "helped" by adding to the confusion worrying while out of town with limited online access.) This time no anniversary coupons, it's 30% off *or* 70% off the $19.95, plus DAZ sales can apply. That's supposed to be simpler lol the magento store can be too flexible?!? :)

    Thanks for putting up with this ;) I'm just glad you guys still support me and can see I'm trying to give my supporters the bigger intro discount on these upgrades! DAZ have been nice too, it's a bit more work on their end also and I'm already high... er... "above average" maintenance on a normal day lol. Thanks all! :lol:
