ok first off I'm new to working much in studio i primarily use carrara and poser but i do not have goz for carrara yet so i decided to give morphing a try with gen2. first i watched the tutorial on youtube and then went to work i spent some time making a new character based on Blackhearted's girl next door for v4. hit the goz button and it came back into daz as morph and everything was perfect i was pretty sure this was gona be my new favorite character, so to make sure i didn't lose it i saved the scene. then i saved the shape preset. then i saved charater preset all just to make sure. then opened a new scene and opened the scene file i had created to check all i got were bones no geometry just grey bounding boxes that wont render. so i tried to load the character no dice so i loaded gen2 and tried the shape but nothing happened! i cant figure out why everything corrupted. studio 4.6 x64 windows 7 X64.

Have moved this to DS discussions, you may get more assistance there.

If you dd not use morph loader to make morph controller,
(that means you did not save the Morph target as obj , so taht you can not use it again)

you need to save it as morph. it can only save your work.
once you save it as morph, from top menu,, next you load gen, it must be there.

ather that, you can save the shape as character preset, or scene (subset etc) with your morph shape.

but before save it as morph, you should need to set morph value to zero.
or next you load genesis2F , it will be auto applied your morph sahpe. I think.
(I do not know,, if new ds 4.6 removed the problem or not,, anyway I must set value zero then save it as morph)

GoZ morphs are not saving correctly in the current build - it's a bug, of which DAZ is aware. Morph Loader pro is safe and so for now should be used.

Like most that don't know how Tri-Ax figures work you forgot the most important part, to actually save the morph itself (File > Save as > Support asset > Morph Asset).

I know, there have been bug report about plug in for z-brush. (there seems version compatible problem
but which version of z-brush work or not,, I do not know clear)

usually,, if you can load the morph by plug-in and it could work without problem on daz studio,
primarily you better save it as morph (assets) to save actuall morph geometry
in data sub morph directory for the Actor as morph.dsf

After that when you load all genesis character presets , the figure have the morph controller.
    and it should work.

then it was only way to save the shape as one of genesis morph.

But I am sorry,, I often forgot what changed about each daz studio up-date,
then,, when I save figure with loaded morph by plug-in, or morph loader,
as scene subset,, in ds 4.6,

the morph data which improted are recorded as actuall geometry data in subset.duf.
I perfectly forgot it. I checked subset.duf,, now it has recorded the morph data.

to think about these facts,, about your case,
it is simply problem of GoZ plug in bug of daz ,as Richard said.

you need to save the morph sahpe as obj, in z-brush. and use morph loader pro to make controller for daz studio.
after that if you hope to use the morph with every genesis character, you need to save it as morph(Assets)

but if you hope to keep the shape at current,, and not expect it to save for genesis morph,
you can keep it as scene subset or scene file.

that means you can use the morph when you load the scene subset ,and about the subset only
untill you save it as morph assets.

    when I make morph ,

1 At first, I must save (export) the morph shape as obj in the current 3d modelor,
whether I use plug-in or not. so that I can re-shape the morph when I need easy.

Once save it as obj, I can easy load it by morph loader pro for daz studio wheever I want.

(though need to learn import and export option for each modelor,(size or z-front etc)
but after all, you will need to learn the way, I think. )

2 if the morph (with controller) work well as I expected on daz studio,, I must save it as morph (assets)
As bejaymac said. but you can save it and keep the current controller as scene subset ,scene too.

Then it can only work about triax weight figure, you can not save it as morph assets duf, for cr2 figures.

if I need to save the morph for cr2 figures,

I may save it as scene subset temporarily, then find way to make exp or export as new cr2 figrure,,
in forum or documents . ( but I have no plan to save morph for cr2 figures)

Ok thanks for the info peoples.however one thing i gota say is the save scene button should save every thing regardless thats the whole point of a freaking save button!!!
