a lil  6$ gc prize to make it more interesting

ending date for wips - 14th July 2018
will be a separate thread for entries as appointed time draws nigh
animated gif or mp4 okay to host it from another site; stash, yt, etc.

*no post work*   enlightened​ drop in a text prim or mapped plane
*carrara does superbably caustics and blurred reflections*

    Lots of free crystal and gem models in various formats available here: http://www.3dlapidary.com/HTML/Collections.htm about halfway down the page is a big collection in OBJ format that I've used in Carrara a few times before in case someone doesn't want to try and model their own. laugh

    There's a listing of the IOR for lots of different gems on that same site.

    I could see lots of weapons being created from images using Philemo's cutouts plugin yes

    I just need lots of public domain redistributable images!

    Carrara 8.5 Pro native render with overloaded caustics.
    Genesis 2 Olympia with Fantasy Ornaments from Aeon Soul.
    Not sure if it follows the rules...

    here's one with (2nd) post and (first) no post (bar sig) - not an entry

    I duplicated the skull three times and put them one inside t'other - used fresnel on the top one and on the inner one duplicated a whole lot of bubbles - the lights are set to only illuminate the skulls and bubbles - the mount lighting is from the caustics

    took bludy ages to render - had to reduce it from the original 2000 pixels sized render as I need my computer to do other things....

    post worked one has slight dof and is sharpened in oloneo hdr
