Question about DAZ Dimension Lights

How long is the rendering time if I have just an environment and one figure (Genesis) in my scene?

    I have them and its really hard to answer that. Its going to depend on your hardware...

    Do you have the Luminance light sets also from Dimension?

    I got Dimension lights 2 free with V6 (sadly I missed set 1). They are really simple, but they work well. It's just a preset with a UE2 and a DistantLight tied to a null. The setting are complete with light and occlusion colors, intesities, shading rates, etc.

    If you want to see how they run just drop a UE2 and a Distant into your scene, and it should give you about the same performance if different results.

    That is what I was thinking too. For me the Luminance lights are very similar in processing time to the Dimension Lights.

    Just to note, I believe all the freebies were added as a single zero-cost purchase to your account. Look back around 7/7 in your 'My Orders' list. You may see an order number that's shorter than the others, at $0.00

    I do have that 7/7 order, but only Dimension Lights 2 is listed there. I logged in the day after launch so I didn't get to claim the Dimension Lights 1 set, and it doesn't show in that list. Would be nice if it did though.
