dissolve/melt edge tool

in Hexagon Discussion

I've been using hexagon for years...and I'm grateful it's still being worked on.

however, I feel it's missing one tool:

being able to dissolve/melt an edge without deleting then entire polygon.

would it be possible to add such a tool? (as I see it in other modelling programs).

    Why would they? Have you ever actually touched the backspace key?

    Backspace now gives several options when deleting edge loops. I mentioned them to DAZ ten years ago, because I hated all the points left behind on models.

    So in conclusion, they will not add such a tool because it has been present in the program for the last decade.

    ...and with this, it looks like hexagon is now, indeed my main modeler. thank you for responding.

     

    I had been (and am STILL using) hex for the past decade and didn't know about the backspace key.

    also, ascania, your response and attitude was completely uncalled for..

    I asked a simple question about something I didn't know existed.
