fixing animation block

I"m not sure how to fix this (or if there is a way)

On my walk aniblocks i'm making. Since the arms are close to body as walking, the upper arm is going into the torso at times.

I"m not sure how to edit it so it'll stop. I tried moving the it, but then the arm goes too far out

Any ideas?

In the case ... You are converting BVH files in blocks, right ...?
these bvh files work normally before converted to blocks?

I converted the downloaded BVH to fit the Genesis skeleton

I mean, I knew even after converted, you'd still have to edit the AniBlocks so the arms and hands don't go through the body, but I"m having a hard time editing the upper arm area so it's not going into the upper body

I mean, as the figure walks, it's not doing it, it's only the key frame were the arms are closest to the body

how do you convert a bvh files for a given skeleton ... What software do you use for conversion?

    Motionbuilder

Hmmm, and it can convert any character skeleton daz / poser?
because that my character has the body disproportionate in relation to current models (m4, m3 v3 v4, genesis) so that bvh files imported into poser / daz not work properly in it.

You need to edit a skeleton for Genesis, then you have to make a base skeleton of the motion your are using (every one's BVH are different) Then that 2nd skeleton, you merge the BVH files to it (all motions in 1 place) and you transfer over to the character skeleton

Raw BVH files do NOT work on any character unless worked on 1st. They can be disfigured and the BVH would still work
