Working in DS4.6, am I able to manually scale or fit clothing created for genesis male/female to v4/m4 like I can outfits made for older models in DS3?

An even better question ... I heard there is a clothing converter included in DS4+. If that info is right, does it go back as well as forward?

It sounds like you are referring to the Auto-Fit tool. If so the answer is no. It will only take Poser rigged clothing and change it to a tri-ax weight figure so it can be fit to Genesis. It can't take a Tri-ax weight clothing item (A genesis clothing item) and create a poser rig for it (make it fit a Gen 4 figure).

You would need to shape/scale the clothing item so that it fits around your Gen 4 figure. Then you would need to export the clothing item as an .obj file. Re-import the obj. and then re-rig it. I wish I had a tutorial handy for rigging legacy clothing. There has been one floating on the first two pages of the commons I believe. If I find it I will link it here.

Another alternative (if somewhat tedious)... assuming you have the V4 for Genesis shape... is to size her up to roughly match the real V4 dimensions that you're using... then put the V4/Genesis model in the same pose and position as the V4/real model, and turn V4/Genesis invisible, leaving the clothes visible though.

I'd rather not give my character rubber, Plastic Man arms ... lol, so a re-fit/export may work.

I'm prob going to buy the outfits and apply the textures to some dynamic fabrics and be done with it ... lol.

    Thanks, guys :D

I have used XD4 & Krystal starfox to convert Genesis clothing I then converted again for V4 using XD3 where I have a figure license for her.
not played with it much but am considering buying the license bundle for 4 one day maybe.
Aussie too far below US one at moment.

forgot to add, you need to save the clothing as a cr2 first
I used PoserP12 but you can do it in studio.
