I seem to remember a quilt pattern shader, but now can't find it. Can it still be found?

Probably Quilts and Calicos. It looks like it was pulled, but I'm not sure why.

You could try "The Fabricator" http://www.daz3d.com/the-fabricator and the Poser version: http://www.daz3d.com/the-fabricator-for-poser If I remember correctly the Poser version is for Poser 7 and 8 only.
It may not be able to do a patch work quilt, however you can use the Primitive Creator and the Polygon Group editor in Studio to load a primitive plane and create surfaces in the form of a grid. You could then apply a different shader setting to each surface. May be more work than you are wanting to put into it though.
*Edit* Apparently there is a thread at the top of the commons about the shader: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/20262/
Another way of making quilts, is load a dynamic sheet, and put a quilt pattern picture into the diffuse. I make my own quilt patterns, though you can probably get one from the internet. I'm not at home right now, or would load a couple of .jpegs for you.
That was it. What I wanted it for was to turn the medieval dynamic tunic into a gambeson by 'quilting' it.
It was made by Zigraphix, who's around the forums quite a bit. You might PM her.
Thanks :D I'll try to find her :D
Just in case you haven't found a solution, Zig's store is back online. Here's the Quilts and Calicos I mentioned above:

I ended up creating my own quilted look in Photoshop and Filter Forge, but do still want to buy the shader. Way too much work was involved ... lol. I like tools that make my job simpler, rather than harder.
Here's the final scene I wanted it for to begin with, to 'quilt' the knight's gambeson, beneath his chainmail: 'A Wandering Warrior: The Knight'
It looks good! The hard work paid off, imo. ;)
Thanks :D
Unfortunately, I don't get paid by the hour, but by the project. So when something takes me a week longer than expected, I lose money or clients or both.
Fortunately, though, enough people seem to like it well enough to hire me for their own books. So it wasn't a complete loss. But more stress than I like ... lol.
Tend to go the lazy route, when I can.
;P
