I would also greatly appreciate it if you had mentioned that the link in question was a Download... and not a link to the video (as I expected) I honestly very rarely download things from links like this, whch meant I got a bit of a unhappy surprsie when it started to download.

If I had looked closer at the link, I probably would have figured it out... but I was curious so didn't read it properly

Now this is really puzzling. On my machine the link starts a streaming video right away - no download of any kind.
Maybe this is a Mac thing?

I can back Carola up, it definitely wants to download, not stream on my Win 7 machine.

    Hi Laslo

Just to let you know the installer for some reason messed up when I installed the new beta, It put the files loose in my program files(x86) folder instead of creating the program folder and placing the files inside.

not sure if anyone else has noticed this, so thought I would let you know.

    Steve.

When I try to install this beta 2, my antivirus warns me of a malware. o.O

    Guys,
which part of the beta agreement was not clear.
Beta comments should be always in email and never through public forums.
The purpose of the beta program is to discover issues.
That's why they are betas - bugs and all.
Pls. send me your remarks by email - please!!!

Okay, I'll bite. What beta agreement? No readme in the zip I just downloaded [and therefore deleted]. Quick glance on page didn't reveal one either.
Some of the makers do indeed deal with beta comments through the forums ... that way you maybe get the situation mentioned once instead of 5,000 times.

Looks to be an interesting concept. Hope it works out.

Abalone LLC choose his beta testers a while ago so why he is using the forums to tell them of updates seems strange to me.
The beta is no good unless he sent you a licence Key.
To be honest I don't feel that this has been gone about in a very professional way.

I beg to differ. While it is true that we closed applications for beta testers, the rest of the forum may also be interested at what stage we are and when a final release is in sight. As such, we are now ready to send out Beta 3 which seems very close to the final rpoduct.
    Best,

When I downloaded the last file I had a file error but it's probably on my end since the other testers were able to use it so I'll be glad to see V3
