Hello everybody,
I bought it Auto fit, but found out that it is FREE, thank you DAZ you guys are awesome! Thank you for Daz Studio 4.6 too. I am a much happier person because of you :-), i like to create, time stop moving once i start.
About the auto fit tool, I tried on Genesis female 2 figure for V4 body suit and also Dark wind outfit for V4 it does not ask me to tell which is the material is made for to fit to what figure. I tried transfer utility at scene tab, the body suit, morph to unrecognized thing. Moreover the bodysuit is not recognized by Daz studio at all, there is no option to select the object (body suit) this case is for transfer utility. What should i do? i checked the help plugin it is active, i didn't have to put my serial number.
Another thing is, do you have conversion tools for all products? perhaps it is the auto fit?
I cant get any tutorial for (beginner):
1. How to start Genesis Basic Clothing Rig Kit, i don't know where is the tool, if i have to use another program?
2. How to make clothes, accessories and shoes.
3. D form
I would like to share my experience too for those who are new like me.
I just got to know about this tool. I saw the video at youtube, Daz Prod but didn't understand that it is a plugin that it is not build in Daz Studio 4.6.
I also learn that the program Daz studio and Daz Installer is great they are fast and instantaneous from Daz3d.com purchased to ready to install in the installer. Yes, you only install them once. :-) The best thing is that someone in the forum teach me, about adding extra path for the products in your computer to Daz Studio, it is in Edit>preference>content library>Content directory Manager, browse and add extra path, to bridge from My DAZ 3D library and My DAZ.
I am still learning about D-form.
I would like to suggest Daz3d.com search engine to get more specific details please on the words that is searched and the words that exist in Daz3d.com content pages.
This is all for now, i will share more when i learn more, well my sharing is only for really new beginners LOL.
thank again
P/S: to Daz3d.com, the picture is for my ad, i wanna share what i did, if you find it not proper for your website, it is ok, just delete it. TQ
Happy creating...you creative people! Creating=Power Love ; Lust=Desire to create. Lets channel da luv and make beautiful creations.
cheers everybody.:-)

    1. Is a set of dress "templates" which can be used as a donor in the Transfer Utility, in place of Genesis, to get a more skirt-like rig (with extra bones for positioning the skirt). You do need a model, either your own or something you have converted to Genesis or that was made for Genesis but doesn't have ideal rigging for its skirts, to modify - the kit is just to help with the rigging stage.

    2. You need a modeller, or modeller plus utilities for mapping and grouping, that will produce OBJ files. The items should be modelled around the zeroed figure, ideally, which can be exported as OBJ from DAZ Studio for use as a mannequin.

    3. DForms are covered in the DAZ Studio 3 manual, and in various online tutorials. The main thing to note is that in DAZ Studio 4, you need to have Genesis select when creating the DForm (or to add the Genesis node to the DForm's effect), where the tutorials and the DS3 manual will tell you to select the bone you wish to modify; aside from that their information should apply.

To use AutoFit to get Victoria 4 clothing or hair onto Genesis 2 female I'm afraid you need this too http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female - out of the box, AutoFit for Genesis 2 Female supports conversions only from Genesis 1.

Yes, that is the correct way to add a new content directory to DAZ Studio.
