Here's an updated version of the Death Star in Orbit image now featuring Jyn Erso, daughter of the architect of the Death Star.

And I kinda like it with a plain background too.  Thoughts?

Love it!  You there on the Bantha-pull it over!

"It figures that after the Empire got rid of the Jedi, then the rebel scum and so on, and so on, that eventually they would go after the sand people, LOL"

    Barbie Fett:

<snrk> Nice, but I think I got you beat (from one of my first SF cons, lo these many years ago) —

    Rocky Horror Darth Vader.

And he did a little song and dance number as well...

    ...sweet.

We had a fellow who did the late Dr. Sagan back during the Cosmos days who looked and sounded exactly like him.  He ended up his routine by promoting Campbell's Creme of Primordial Soup (even had a can with the proper label on it).  Won for best comedy/parody

...cute now we need Obi-wan Ken-obi

Not related to cosplay, I once sketched up a joke comic book cover during the Marvel "2099 craze" titled 'Barbie 2099" showing her dressed in leather with a bandolier of bullets a bandana, while smoking a cigar and armed with an impossibly huge rifle with built in grenade launcher.  The tagline was "she's nobody's playtoy anymore".  At the time Marvel also was publishing a Barbie comic.

Still think I may have it somewhere in my file cabinet.

Heh — did he actually manage to work "billions and billions" into his shtick?

Reminds me, I came across the Cosmos DVD collection recently while I was packing stuff away for redecorating. Time for a re-watch, I think.

...yup, though he pronounced it "bullions and bullions".

Imagine a whole room full of fen reacting like that for about two seconds, before we all started laughing and cheering. Can't remember now if he won, or the double act of the Stainless Steel Rat and his homicidal-but-reformed-(probably) girlfriend. IIRC she was complaining loudly that she plugged her blaster into the hotel room's mains socket to recharge, and browned out half of Glasgow.

    AKA Jedi Knight Barbie Ma-Ttell.

This is a companion piece to my Barbie Fett pic, also based upon a cosplay I saw at the same convention.
