Ok. It's time to make my renders pay off. My question is this.... when rendering in Daz Studio, what size and method should I use to obtain a printable 300 dpi and will blow up sufficiently good? Please keep it in layman's terms as I'm not the brightest lightbulb on the Christmas tree. :D

This has been discussed in other threads in the Nut's n Bolts forum I believe. The simple answer is take your desired image size in inches. Multiply that by your dpi to get the number of pixels you need. For example if you wanted an image that was 10" by 13" at 300 dpi the size of the image in pixels would be 3000 x 3900.

Assuming you need the image to be set at 300PPI, to hand off to a printer or to place in a layout application, you can change the PPI without changing the actual pixels - for example, in Photoshop go to Image>Image Size, make sure Resample Image isn't checked, and change the PPI from 72 or 96 to 300.

You may also want to sit down with your service provider and discuss sizes and file formats. Since most of our work is offset, the final print files must be in TIFF.
