CMS Question

I know, "search first, noob," but I did and I don't see the solution to my problem. I uninstalled Studio 4.5 and the content management service before reinstalling everything using DIM. I no longer have CSM as a program in my start menu. I also cannot find the setup file for CMS that I had before.

It appears that DIM did not install CMS and I cannot find any way to install it. When I launch Studio 4.6 and import metadata, a dialogue scroll says that Studio is accessing CMS, but nothing shows up in Smart Content and there is no CSM service running or stopped in the Task Manager.

Any idea how I can install CMS?

    CMS installs as part of the DS4.6 installation.

    I would suggest that you reinstall DS4.6 and see if that helps. You can install DS4.6 yourself without using the DIM if you would prefer to do that.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled using DIM without any success. The problem was solved by installing manually and not through DIM. I hope manually installing helps the other people I have seen with CMS and Smart Content trouble after installing DS4.6 with DIM.
