Need help to find a car for animation of wheel spin!

I am planning a short animation of a car! The thing is that I am building a car of actually 5 cars! The reason for this is that I also want to control the body movement how it is affected by G-force! I hide some parts of the 5 cars and in the end they are all conected to a null-object so it looks like one car! I want to control the individual wheels by movement of up and down and also control stearing! The problem I have with the car I have! A Panthera from 2 Create HB is that I can't control the wheel spin individual! In the tree for the car you shuld have another nod for a tire named "Spin RT wheels" as an example! Then under parameter you should have under "Rotation" wheel spin. Here you can set a value like 36000 for the wheel to spin under an animation! Then you will see the whells spinning on the car! I searching a US muscle car like Dodge, Camaro, Mustang or similar!

I know one car you can do it but it is only for Poser and if I had Poser I could edit the car there and then export it to DAZ! This one does not work in DAZ!( mcr by blbarrett) Thats why I need another car to use!

    Ask for help in the Art Studio Car and Bike Lovers thread. If any know of one they will. Here's a link

    couldn't you just re-rig the figure and have the wheels controlled/parented to a bone with x/y/z transfers and rotations enabled?

    Or, rigging the car simply like this top-view scheme here below (trying using ascii), you might just have only the root node with all 6 enabled and have only rotations enabled for the other joints.

    <---<o>--->
    I
    ^ Y
    I I
    <---<o>---> Z ---X

    ^ is your root, all the chassis should be weight-mapped to it , you then have a front body bone I and a rear body bone I, to each of those are then linked two (left and right) axis bones and to each of those a wheel bone.

    Front and rear body should not have any possible movement (unless you want to deform the chassis). Each axis should only have a rotation enabled along the main axis of the car (the Y axis in top view above), so they can control the wheels dampers excursion and wheels obviously should be able to spin, so a rotation along the X axis for all 4. Finally each of the front wheels should have Z rotation enabled and linked, so you can make em 'steer'

    Thanks both of you!

    I put the question to the car guys! :)
    We will see what they say!

    Kesh!
    Hm! I am not so good doing that what you try to explain
    but looks interesting! Could be another solution!
