DAZ Studio Genesis V4 vs V4

Hey guys,
My computer died and I'm going through installing all my products again, I must say it's a lot easier now than in the old days with the install manager :).

I was wondering if anyone knows that if I have a Genesis figure set to V4 will I be able to apply the Victoria 4.2 Morphs++ to that figure?
If I can then I don't see any reason for the need for me to re-install the Victoria 4 base figure.

Not directly, no -- the V4 Shape for Genesis is just a shape, the underlying mesh is still Genesis. However, the product http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x can be used to transfer morphs from V4 and M4 to Genesis.
