Fitting V4 and Genesis shoes to Genesis 2 Female

I'm having trouble fitting shoes made for V4 or Genesis to G2F. The two issues seems to be that when auto-fitting them, they either aren't recognised (btw, I have V4 for G2F installed - everything's up to date...), and if the shoe(s) load they don't conform to the zero'd foot pose (or any, for that matter). I'm having no difficulties loading any other types of clothing. Can anyone help?

A possible workaround, however this will remove any adjustments to bend between toe and foot

    • Open a new scene

    • Load the shoes

    • Make the entire model invisible by clicking the "eye" icon in the content pane for each node of the model (Rshin,Rfoot,Rtoe, etc.)

    • Make the foot and toe visible in the content pane for either right foot or left

    • Export the visible foot and toe portions on your screen to OBJ format, call it whatever you want, make sure the option to "Ignore Invisible Nodes" is checked off, now do the same for the other foot

    • Open a new scene and import your figure

    • Import the shoe OBJ's you just created

    • Adjust translation to fit the foot of the figure, adjust scale as needed.
