A minor install manager problem.

During the last couple of weeks, each time I download the items with the install manager, the install fails. However, I can remap the same path from the beginning and it will install. It would then fail again the next time (usually the next day or two) when I attempt to download something else. But again, I can remap the same path and it will again install.
I can always get this to work, but it is a bit of a nuisance to remap the same path over and over.

The Install Manager error log should have recorded why the install failed. Click on the Gear icon on the upper right to launch the Settings panel. On the lower left, click on the Show Log button and scroll down until you see the failure messages.
Here's the error it gave, but as I said, I can remap the same path and it will work, but a day later, it won't. I will have to remap the same path again.

Did you use the DIM download links from the product library or on the screen you get right after an order is completed, or did you wait until it showed up in DIM's ready to download tab? Regardless, it appears the Pistol pack files weren't ready for DIM to download yet so they weren't there as the error message indicates.
The screen I get after the order is complete.
There is a delay between when an order is placed and when the item is available to download with Install Manager. The delay is at most 5 minutes. It is possible that the item wasn't available at the time you used the link after the order was complete. I suggest logging into Install Manager and refreshing.
I doubt that re-mapping is fixing the problem. It is more likely that the process of re-mapping takes enough time so that when you are done the item is available for download. The next time you purchase something wait for it to show up in the actual Install Manager and download it from there. If you are still having trouble then file a support ticket.
