Hi all,

I have a little problem with Daz studio I am hoping someone can help me with. First off the specs:

DS 4.6 pro
Win 7 64-bit
intel i-7 processor
12 gig ram
I have two hard drives both 1 tb
one is the main HD the other is internal for poser/Vue/ Daz content.

My problem is this I can install Daz studio just fine the problem is it can't seem to find textures for the poser models I bring in. Example: A car will load but then Daz studio asks me for every stinking texture for it this goes for the same for anything I bring into DS. However, if said model is a Daz model Daz studio has no problem with finding the textures for it. For example the Starship Stingray model in the Daz store it as well as the textures are one of the folders on the second 1tb drive with all my poser external runtime folders yet ds has no problem loading the textures. All the textures for my poser content are located on the second 1 tb drive where all my poser external runtime folders live.

So I am a bit baffled did I miss something in the install of DS 4.6 Pro? I have all the native Daz studio content in My Documents and there is no problem loading that content into Daz Studio. The only problem is that DS can't seem to find the poser content texture files for models I load into the program. Any thoughts??

Thanks!

You need to make sure that the paths to your content is listed as BOTH DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats in the Content Directory Manager.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and post a screenshot of the expanded listing for both DAZ Studio and Poser Formats, they should both be EXACTLY the same.
