custom browser icons

How do I make custom browser icons for the Carrara bottom tray?

This issue comes up now because...

- dragging scene objects directly to the browser can lose some vertex naming information, so I am now saving as a .car file from the file menu.  Would like to make icons.

- for Daz and Renderosity acquired stuff, the producer's icon is often a clever angle which does not show enough of the product.  Would like to replace.

Any help would be appreciated.

One word of caution: with newer content, p3do will often truncate line data, causing file corruption. Make sure you have a backup of the .car file before you perform any operation. You can then fix any corruption by simply copy/pasting everything after the thumbnail data from your backup.
