I want to be able to produce this image ( http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/fw-lindsay-for-victoria-4-2-v-4/97526) -- Lindsay for Victoria by FWArt, but I need to know which package(s) I need as base.
I have the DS 4.6 with stock Genesis and Genesis 2 figures. I understand I need Victoria 4.2 and the morphs++ .. what is the easiest & cheapest way to get what I need?
And will I be able to achieve the quality in the FWArt render (they used Poser...can DS4.6 be that good`?)
TIA!
Ed

Not sure you would actually need V4 if you just intend to use the skin, G1 has a V4 UVmap so can use V4 skins , but

Why worry about if Studio can render as well, when Studio has this http://www.daz3d.com/luxus so has a better rendering option.
Can DS's 3Delight produce results similar to Posers Firefly? With enough skill, yes. It might not be an exact match but it'll be close enough. Do you need luxus to get great looking renders? Nope!
In fact a lot of things that can be done in 3delight by using shaders will take a lot of careful tweaking of materials in luxus and getting rid of fireflies on reflective mats in lux takes forever and a day (which is about a century and a half longer than I'm prepared to wait)
Don't get me wrong Lux is a great engine I just find 3Delight easier to work with and I like the results...
Ditto.
You can't get that result in DS with the shaders that come with Lindsay, but you can ctrl+click from any other good female shader you already own after you load it and it will make a big difference.
But isn`t Lindsay a set of morphs + skin based on a Victoria frame? Won't I need V4.2, plus the morphs to achieve that image? Aren`t the morphs++ package needed to modify facial features, etc? Can anyone recommend a good reference source for Daz 4.5+? (aside from this great forum, of course...)

Yes, if you're after the *exact* facial and body shapes, then yes, you'd need V4 and the Morphs++ package. The texture however, will work just fine on Genesis and you can create a much more varied series of shapes there (if you like).
Perfect...that answers my question. Thanks!
