This Product was created for DAZ Studio's Dynamic Cloth Engine Means What?

OptiTex products are all over the place in the promo for today, but I haven't a clue what that statement means. I am not interested in animation right now, can these clothing items be used for typical renders?

    It means it's dynamic clothing and not conforming. DS comes with a basic dynamic clothing control, but for total control you need http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-clothing-control

    This is the clothing that allows you get natural drapes and things as opposed to looking stiff with a lot of poke through like conforming clothing.

    So that product is for the best control (I do remember seeing it before.) But what the statement says (if I read you correctly) is the clothing IS made for just regular use in the studio without having to buy that product? (Sorry to be dense. It's my natural state of being. Plus, there will be a lot of other people wondering the same thing when they wake up in the morning, so I might as well be the one asking. It's 2am here in the States...)

    The Basic Dynamic control free with DAZ Studio will allow renders like this. All the clothing on Brunna is dynamic.

    Yea, I'm over in WA and its midnight here. ;)

    You can use it without the product, the product only allows for further control such as wind and things like that. The built in control iirc is only a basic drape with no real modifying elements.

    Curious, i'm not seeing any of this, neither on the promo page or on the store front. I see Growing Up and Sisters in the promo, but not in the shop, the new releases page hasn't changed in almost two days for me...

    Try CNTRL + SHIFT + DELETE
    When I go to my browser tool thingie, that's how to do a system refresh/cache clearing that WORKS. See if it works for you.

    Thank you both- I want to get this to practice some lighting/closeups so I'll go ahead and do it. It looks great with pants too!

    I can't see any of these either. No new releases at all, even after clearing the cache or forcing a refresh!!!

    Are you able to even GET to this page for kids clothing? And BTW folks, it has adult clothing and some hair too- don't let the promo fool you. I guess it depended on if it was designated for both.

    Still on the first page of the kids promotion results. Any luck on those clearing the caches?
    If you look at the link I posted for the kimono, you can see what the link to each sales item logically would be.
    Beach Pants, for example:

    So try typing in the name of these products with kids-4-clothing/ in front of it and let me know if you can see what I am showing you. :)

    There's still three rows on the first page (of 60) and a second page, but this will give you an idea of what the promo is and if you're going to be interested in it. Hope someone can help you get your views fixed.
