Trying to Up My Game
In the new series of stuff I'm working on, I really want to up my game and make renders look better. Before I've just pretty much rendered as is. Then I got to the point where I started changing from "Plastic" all the time to "Matte". Then I started playing around with Uber lighting. Now I'm starting to play around with shaders other than just for people.
So here are two shots. I'm not sure which load order it will be. But the one with the "whiter" looking glass on the shower is pretty much as is except I added a Uber Base light and changed the settings on the mirror which I'm pretty pleased with.
On the other shot I've - changed the floor to be more shiny, changed the metal to chrome (which is just a shader I have. I have no idea where it came from even but to me even tho it is supposed to be hi-quality, it still looks fake), Changed the glass to clear (so clear it doesn't look like anything is there lol).
So I've made some changes like that. The faucets just don't look real to me. and I messed the towel up. It looked better the other way. I was going for more of a fluffy terry cloth type look. And I haven't did anything with the toilet yet. (I don't see where I can do anything shiny and white). Nor have I tried anything with the window.
So anyway, advice? I just want to make things like this look more realistic and give renders a more consistent appearance at least for this Day-in-the-Life series I'm working on.
Thanks for your time!
