Help needed with Gen 1 Heels to Gen2F conversion...

Hi all, I know this has been covered in multiple threads but I didn't find an answer that worked.

I have no trouble with flat shoes but multiple methods with high-heels have not worked. (dx30 shoes, fyi)

Has anyone found a good working method?

I've tried tweaking them to fit G2F's feet, exporting, importing, running transer utility on both a high heel pose and a flat foot post - and no luck. I've tried using G2F boots and doing tranfer rigging to the heels with that...but no go.

How do most vendors rig a high heel anyway considering the default flat foot pose? O_o

Any help would be greatly appreciated! <|:-)</p>

I was able to autofit dx30 OKLBoots, Pumps and Rope Sandals to GF2 using this method:

    1. Load GF2 and apply the shoe's foot pose.

    For each shoe:
    2. Autofit selecting figure=genesis and item=none. Ignore the goofy results.
    3. Set Fit-To to None - the shoe should pop on her foot.
    4. On the Scene tab, Select Genesis 2 Female, press Ctrl key select one of the Shoes, L or R.
    5. With both selected go to Edit>Figure>Rigging>Transfer Rigging (figure space)
    6. Set Fit-To back to Genesis 2 Female

I was a little hasty in saying "perfect" but it's good enough for me! :p There's poke-through (which I can fix) and the toes are hovering but it'll do!

Hmm. I tried this like a haft a dozen time with the rope sandals and and it's not working at all?
Not sure what I-m doing wrong?
For one the shoe is not autofitting to g2f in the first place. I just load into the scene below the character. And yes, CMS is up and running.

HA!!!!, got it to work. Just had to re-set the CMS, even though it was up and running(????) That damn thing can be pretty screwy sometimes.
Thanks for the tip. I will make sure that others will find this too.

Great news! I had put this together and will post it anyways to help someone see what the steps should look like.

Thanks Lindsey!! Your method works well for Genesis High-Heel Footwear. I have to fine tune the fit mostly using ZScale on the foot and toes, but the results are quite acceptable with help from Smoothing. I'm still having problems with V4 Footwear, however.

I think this technique may work with V4 shoes with some additional steps. I will have to take a look and see and post any results if I come up with anything. I have a couple of ideas that I want to try!

    Now that would be cool

Another set converted to G2F with this method.
Just a know. once converted, you can save as a support asset for G2F and you have the set for her anytime. Also, I just copied the genesis mat folder into the folder where I save the G3F fittings.
