Fixing the last few issues on my Storm outfit in MD, and then tweak/re-work it to turn it into a conforming outfit (maybe, perhaps, big if).
But instead i'm mostly just wasting time posing/draping/shading what i already have.
Wow! That looks really good.
Capes are hard to make in conforming clothing.
Never tried one before. Think i'll rig it as a shirt and import some drapes from md as morphs. Sounds pretty straight-forward if i say it like that, doesn't it ?
(at least i won't have to redo a full body weightmap, like some others in this thread ;-) )
I'm going to be savouring the last two days of the free MD3 beta.
But I've made enough items with it since downloading it that I've got months of post editing left to do in Hexagon just on what I've made so far. I find creating the hard surface items like buttons and clasps too difficult and time consuming in MD3 so it's easier just to spin them in Hex and tack them in place myself. Same as footwear. The part that travels up the leg is easy enough to make in MD3 but the part that encapsulates the foot gets kind of difficult so I'll just be making that part in Hex too.
I wish MD3 would export a mesh with thickness. That would save me a lot of post editing. Some of the MD3 WIPS I have waiting for some post work in Hex.
This, needs much more work...
