Best way to do loop animations? Does using memorise cause aniblock problems?

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

When I do loops within Daz I usually set my pose on frame 0 and then my altered poses within the timeline lets say frame 15, then I go back and memorize the figure in frame zero and go to the last frame and restore the figure on lets say frame 30.

This works but I sometimes run into a problem if I then want to create an aniblock from these frames.

When I bake frames to aniblock it seems to work fine, but if I apply this ani-block to another character, the joints aren't quite right. I think it has something to do with using memorise.

I tried using copy figure and paste figure but that doesn't work.

Any ideas ?

Yes, you are cooking the joint parameters (keys) of the Figure into the AniBlock that way. So the block will only work for that one figure.

So, how do I create a loop without cooking the joint parameters? copy and paste doesn't work.
